Since the founding of the Sotheby's auction house in 1744, The Sotheby's name has earned renown as a marketer of the world's most valuable and prestigious possessions.

On March 19, 2009 Ted Hoffman and Mark Brooks purchased the Sotheby's International Realty franchise from Tony Walton, who began doing business as High Mountain Sotheby's International Realty on March 24, 2005.

The tools and techniques High Mountain Sotheby's International Realty brokers have developed to successfully sell grand estates are equally effective for selling fine properties in all price ranges. Our brokers represent some of the most experienced agents in the Steamboat Springs area, as well as brokers who are just entering the real estate profession. This diversity creates a system of mentors and eager students with the end result being that all our brokers conduct the business of real estate the right way, by exceeding our customers' needs.
